The Aquataine Progression Review

Plot:
Joel Converse is an attorney who has a forgettable past when he served as a pilot in Vietnam war. After 20 years, a man who he forgot (Preston Halliday) comes and says a shocking news about a General (Marcus Delavane) who is trying to get the world under his control with the help of people in Paris, Bonn, Tel Aviv, Johannesburg.

Joel is joined by Preston's brother-in-law to stop this. At one point, both Preston's brother-in-law and Joel are kidnapped. Joel gets out of the place and somehow manages to go to Amsterdam. His ex-wife, Valerie, sends him a signal that she will be arriving in Amsterdam. He meets and her and tells her what this is all about.

Subsequently, after a great cat-and-mouse chase, Joel kidnaps the 3 big guys from Paris (Bertholdier), Bonn (Leifhalm) and Tel Aviv (Chaim Abrahm). He makes them commit what they are planning to do. Preston's brother-in-law also escapes in the final attack. Ultimately, General Marcus Delavane is killed by his own guard.

Joel and Valerie decide to get married again.

Analysis:
You just can't stop reading this novel. The novel is fast paced with lots of twists, never losing the occasional humor.
